Lauren A. Rode is an associate attorney at the firm, bringing years of experience in bankruptcy and family law. She earned her B.S. in Communication and Applied Economics in 2007 from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York graduating cum laude.. While there, she played on the Cornell University Women's Basketball team, playing shooting guard. After college, she attended the University of Minnesota School of Law, earning her juris doctor and graduating cum laude with a business law concentration in 2011. While in law school, Lauren earned honors by being on the Dean’s List multiple semesters. She also competed in the annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York City, and served as Secretary of the Native American Law Student Association.
After law school, Lauren returned to Los Angeles, becoming a member of the California bar in January, 2012. She practiced bankruptcy law in Los Angeles, then moved to Santa Barbara in 2017.
Lauren is an integral member of our legal team, and brings her midwestern values and strong work ethic to her family law and bankruptcy practice.
